Mont Rochelle Hotel & Mountain Vineyards
The Farm is situated against the Klein Dassenberg Mountains. It boasts a quaint Boutique cellar, which has a unique character due to its layout and design. Previously a fruit packing shed, the cellar has many historic elements and a unique feel to it. The gorgeous Cape Dutch Manor House surrounded by stunning garden and horse filled paddocks, and the tasting room, offer a homely feeling, with personalised service and true South African hospitality.
The objective is to create wines which are fit for any occasion. A range of easy drinking wines is available – quaffing wines to be enjoyed on a hot summer afternoon or with a bowl of pasta after a day in the office. The signature wines are there to indulge you and are perfect for a special celebration or to enjoy with a gathering of friends.
The Vineyards have been planted with noble cultivars and reflect the full range of the terroir of the valley. Presently 16 of the 33 ha farm is under vine and boast Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.
