Details
Pale rose pink with a bouquet of ripe strawberries, ripe berries and dried herbs. Clean, fruity and refreshing with good acidity. The winemaker suggests serving with smoked salmon, summer salads or vegetarian dishes.
The Vineyards (Viticulturist: Dricus Heyns)
The grapes were sourced from vineyards in the Durbanville and Darling areas. Grapes are grown on decomposed granite on slopes suiting the cultivar, ranging from altitudes between 50m and 150m above sea level.
The Winemaking (Winemaker: Tariro Masayiti)
The grapes were harvested by hand between 18 and 19 degrees balling during mid-February. They were crushed and then cool-fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for two to three weeks at 13 degree C, before being left on the skins for 1 day.
