Details
Rich dark tones of black berries and cassis on the nose. Sour cherry and sweet plum flavours follow through on the palate. Juicy tannins and spicy oak tones contribute to the overall character.
Handpicked and sorted at 25˚B and cold soaked for two days at 11˚C. Fermented for seven days followed by a two week maceration period. Grapes were then pressed and pumped to 100% first fill French oak barrels where the wine matured for 12 months. The wine was stabilized and given an rough filtration before bottling.
