Details
The Cloof blend – the soft berry fruits of Cabernet Sauvignon (44%), the structure and spice of Pinotage (29%), the gorgeous opulence of Shiraz (27%) – set against the sophisticated elegance of French Oak. Its bold, concentrated flavours are directly attributable to the tiny yield of untrellised, unirrigated vines. Growing under extreme conditions, these bush vines are integral to the unique style and quality of Cloof wines.
CELLAR INFORMATION: Three varieties fermented separately, and were blended after barrel and tank ageing. A major portion of the blend (about 50%) was aged in French Oak barrels (20% new) for 12 months.
