Details
Named after the youngest daughter of the estates co-owner, the Lisa Cabernet Franc 2007 is produced from a single vineyard. It is a full bodied wine with a soft integrated tannin structure and a prominent lingering aftertaste.
The duration of fermentation was 15 days. The wine was pumped over 4 times per day for optimum colour and tannin extraction. When fermented dry it was pressed into stainless steel tanks.
Garnet red in colour, this wine delivers herbaceous and tobacco notes on the nose which then elegantly gives way to a classical cassis and black cherry fruit on the palate.
This wine spent 18 months in French oak.
