This vintage beautifully expresses the unique terroir of Klein Constantia.
The Sauvignon Blanc grapes ripened at a much later stage than previous years, which gives the wine a complexity of rich tropical fruit flavours.
Sweet melon, gooseberries and kiwi fruit marry perfectly with fresh acidity on the palate, and the characteristic minerality of the Klein Constantia Estate.
Grapes were harvested by hand in the early hours of the morning, and the vineyard blocks were kept separate so that the full potential of each block was able to develop. The wine was left on the lees for 3 months in total, resulting in a bold wine with strong fruit, minerality and a beautiful texture.
