Details
There is an elegance and power in the fresh citrus and creamy vanilla aromas. On the palate you will experience the subtle integration of Chardonnay fruit flavours with French oak characteristics as well as a lingering taste of marmalade and buttered toast.
The grapes were selected and handpicked from two vineyards to ensure that the juice quality for this Chardonnay is excellent and the fruit flavours are well preserved. Instead of whole bunch pressing, the grapes were crushed and given a short period of skin contact at low temperatures. This was followed by a delicate pressing cycle in the pneumatic press. After settling in stainless steel tanks at a low temperature for 48 hours a high quality clear juice was sent for fermentation.
