Gold at the SA Young Wines show 2003 Veritas 2005 – Bronze
With rich coffee/chocolaty flavours and complex structure, which should improve for a further 10 years or more. Picked at 25.5o balling and then fortified at 10.5o balling with only unmatured brandy spirit. Matured for 18 months in old 500 litre barrels.
55% Tinta Barocca, 35% Touriga Nacional, 10% Souzão
